CONWAY, S.C. — An Equine Pasture Management Workshop is scheduled for Thursday, November 9, 2017 beginning at 9:30 a.m. and lasting until 3:30 p.m. at the Horry County Extension Service Office located at 1949 Industrial Park Road in Conway, SC. Registration will begin at 9:00 a.m. There is a non-refundable fee of $35.00, which covers course material, refreshments, and lunch. Pre-registration is required by Tuesday, November 7, 2017. Two pesticide recertification credits will be available.
Topics covered are problem weeds, grazing strategies, forage selection, fire ant control, forage quality, manure management, soil health and many more.
