SYRACUSE, N.Y. — In partnership with Cornell Cooperative Extension Madison County, the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) is proud to announce a free College and Career program to be held at the IHSA Finals in Syracuse, NY, on Saturday, May 4th from 9:30 AM- 1:30 PM. The event provides a unique opportunity for youth and families to explore a myriad of educational and career options within the equine industry.
A presentation on college selection options will begin the activities for the day followed by an opportunity to interact with various college coaches, students, and career professionals. The program concludes with a career panel discussion.
IHSA Nationals is the final leg for collegiate riders who compete year-round to earn a spot in the prestigious program. During the event, over 100 Colleges and Universities will have teams and riders from across the country competing in classes that span from beginner to advanced within IHSA rider levels.
