HAMBURG, N.Y. — The 6th Annual Empire State Beef Classic, held at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg, New York, concluded on Sunday, April 15th. The three day show featured 154 exhibitors representing the states of New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, and Massachusetts as well as international entries from Canada competing for over $7000 in premiums and prizes. The Empire State Beef Classic allows for a pre-season experience prior to showing at county and state fairs. Winners of the classic include:
- Supreme Champion Female went to Katelynn Bennett
- Reserve Supreme Champion Female went to Kennidi Howe of Glencoe, ON
- Third Overall Female went to Bailey Garwood of Columbiana, OH
- Fourth Overall Female went to Rylee Stockdale of Dayton, PA
- Fifth Overall Female went to Brad Regts of Maidstone, ON
- Grand Champion Market Animal awarded to Fox Morgan of Mount Perry, OH
- Reserve Grand Champion Market Animal went to Calvin Trigg of Canal Winchester, OH
- Third Overall Market Animal went to Karli Berkheimer of Dillsburg, PA
- Fourth Overall Animal went to Nathan Hoelscher of Eden, NY
- Fifth Overall Market Animal went to Rylee Stockdale of Dayton, PA
- Grand Champion Showman was awarded to Kyle Piscione of Burbank, OH
- Reserve Champion Showman going to Rylee Stockdale of Dayton, PA
The judge for the Junior Showmanship Competition, the Open Heifer Show and Open Market Animal Show was Parker Henley of Urbana, IL.
