STANLEY, N.Y. — The Empire State Potato Growers are pleased to announce that they have entered into agreement with Lee Newspapers Inc., publishers of Country Folks weekly farm newspaper, to purchase Empire Farm Days. Country Folks has been the leading agricultural media for the Northeast market for over 45 years.
Starting Jan. 1, 2020, Lee Newspapers will be responsible for producing Empire Farm Days. The show will still take place on a 321-acre location on Rodman Lott & Son Farms in Seneca Falls, NY, on July 29 – 31, 2020.
“We are excited to extend our reach of our agricultural publications and trade shows. It will bring our brand of professionalism and expertise to this event,” stated Bruce Button, general manager and vice president of Lee Newspapers.
Empire Farm Days features hundreds of ag exhibitors, live demonstrations and seminars. There is something for all types of farmers, whether they run small or large operations.
Empire Farm Days has been a fixture in the New York agricultural market since 1930. With Lee Newspapers’ expertise and connections in all types of agriculture as well as construction, there are plans already underway to increase the number and types of exhibitors.
