EAST LANSING, Mich. — Michigan State University Extension is offering a series of Lunch and Learn presentations on emergency preparedness. MSU Food Safety Educators will be hosting four live, online webinar sessions focusing on: what food is safe after a power outage, handling food safely during severe weather events, how to prepare an emergency kit, and sanitizing, disinfecting, and what are the best types of bleach to use. Participants are encouraged to ask their questions during the Q & A portion of the event. Food Safety Educators will be available to provide the most up-to-date research-based information.
