MACOMB, Ill. — Agencies and organizations have partnered together to present a series of workshops about emerald ash borer. The purpose of the collaboration is to inform foresters, arborists, community decision makers and landowners about what they can do to diminish the devastation caused to ash trees.
Four workshops are being offered throughout southern Illinois this month, with one being held locally in Macomb on Wednesday, February 28th. The workshop will be held at the University Farm-Livestock Center on County Road 1100E from 9am to 2pm. The cost for the workshop is $10 which will cover lunch and materials.
