IOWA FALLS, Iowa — Emerald Ash Borer: It’s here. Now what? Will be the subject of a meeting being held Monday evening, April 8, 7:00 p.m., in the Fellowship Hall at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Eldora. The guest speaker will be Joe Herring, Iowa Department of Natural Resources District Forester. Emerald Ash Borer was confirmed in Eldora last year.
Program topics include… Can I Save my Ash Tree?, Homeowner’s Options for Preventing Emerald Ash Borer, Managing Ash Trees, Signs and Symptoms of Emerald Ash Borer and Selecting Replacement Trees for Your Yard.
The program is free, open to the public and pre-registration is not required. This program will be a repeat of the Emerald Ash Borer program being held at 7:00 p.m., Monday evening, April 1, at the Hardin County Extension Office in Iowa Falls.
