Carrollton, Ohio — The Eastern Ohio Grazing Council will host a winter grazing workshop on Thursday, Feb. 28 at 6 p.m. at the Friendship Center located at the Carroll County Fairgrounds, 100 Kensington Rd. NE, Carrollton.
The event is part of the Council’s 2019 Winter Grazing Workshop Series. Topics are:
Grass Finishing Livestock – Clint Finney, USDA-NRCS
Grazing Profitability – Erika Lyon, OSU Extension
Marketing Pasture Products – Panel Discussion

Pasture Walk – April 25 at 6 p.m. – Carroll County
Pasture walks are normally held on the 4th Thursday of the month April through October on various farms throughout Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Stark and Tuscarawas counties. In January, February and March we host winter workshops. Anyone interested in the conservation of our soil and water through growing and grazing forages is encouraged to attend the monthly meetings.
