CARROLLTON, Ohio — The Eastern Ohio Grazing Council will host a pasture walk on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at 6 p.m. at the Hans Baltzly Farm located at 1184 Pleasant Valley Dr. SE Paris, OH 44669. Hans purchased this Stark County farm in 2014. He runs 25 cow-calf pairs on approximately 53 acres utilizing a daily rotation.

Our pasture walks are normally held on the 4th Thursday of the month April through October on various farms throughout Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Stark and Tuscarawas counties. In January, February and March we host winter workshops. Anyone interested in the conservation of our soil and water through growing and grazing forages is encouraged to attend the monthly meetings.
