CARROLLTON, Ohio — The Eastern Ohio Grazing Council will host a pasture walk on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 6 p.m. at Bargar Farms located at 36505 Deersville Rd., Cadiz, OH 43907. This Harrison County farm has been in the Heavilin Family since 1827. They raise American British Park White Cattle and sheep.

Our pasture walks are normally held on the 4th Thursday of the month April through October on various farms throughout Carroll, Columbiana, Harrison, Jefferson, Stark and Tuscarawas counties. In January, February and March, we host winter workshops. Anyone interested in the conservation of our soil and water through growing and grazing forages is encouraged to attend the monthly meetings.
