DARLINGTON, S.C.–Another Fair Opportunity for 4-H clubs and members! The Eastern Carolina Agricultural Fair will be held August 17-25 with many 4-H exhibits and livestock shows. Don’t forget about the Watermelon Growing Contest and be sure to make posters, paintings, arts and crafts, handiwork, baked goods to enter into Fair Contests for prize $.

Arts, Crafts & Canned Exhibit Drop-Off:
Saturday, August 11 from 10-4 and Sunday, August 12 from 12-4
4-H Watermelon & Poster Exhibit Drop-Off:
Sunday, August 12 from 12-4 & Thursday, August 16 from 3-6
Baked Goods Exhibit Drop-off: Friday, August 17 from 12-4
Friday, August 17: Pullet Chain and Rabbit Shows
- 2:30-4:30 pm- Pullet Check-in; decorate pullet cages
- 4:30 – 5:30 pm – Rabbit Check-In
- 5:00-6:00 pm -Interviews and Cage Judging begin for Rabbit and Pullet Chain
- 6:30 pm (or as soon as interviews end)- Rabbit & Pullet Chain Showmanship
*Rabbit Costume Contest will take place after Rabbit Showmanship
- 8:00 pm – Awards
Tuesday, August 21: 4-H Night and Goat and Hog Show (all 4-H members get in free with by wearing a 4-H t-shirt and showing their membership card)
- 2:00-5:00- Goat and Hog Check In
- 5:30- Goat Costume Class
- 6:30 – Watermelon Queen Recipe Demonstration and Meet & Greet
- 6:30<- Goat Showmanship
- 7:00- Market Hog Show
