LAKEWOOD, Colo. — A survey was sent to CNGA members regarding a possible emerald ash borer (EAB) quarantine boundary change or elimination of the program altogether. We received eight responses and all were in support of changing or eliminating the quarantine and didn’t cite any reasons the change would impact businesses in a significant manner. The CNGA Board of Directors reviewed the responses and, based on the support, voted to support the change and/or elimination of the program. This letter was sent to the Colorado Department of Agriculture. In addition, Allison Gault, Executive Director, attended the in-person hearing and did not hear testimony that counteracted the member input received. If you have any questions, please contact Allison Gault.
