ST. PAUL — Debra Durheim of Todd County was recently appointed to serve a two-year term on the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) Promotion & Education (P&E) Committee. Durheim will be involved in planning P&E activities/programs, communicating with state leaders, contributing collaborative ideas and taking part in committee meetings.
“I’m excited to continue to serve on this committee as it combines my passion for Farm Bureau and for sharing agriculture’s story,” said Durheim. “Serving on the American Farm Bureau Promotion and Education Committee is a great opportunity to help make recommendations in forming programs and activities that assist county Farm Bureaus across the U.S.”
Durheim currently serves on the Minnesota P&E Committee and as the Todd County Farm Bureau secretary/treasurer. She and her husband, Delvin, raise sheep, beef, swine and chickens and grow hay and corn on their farm in Todd County. Durheim also works off the farm for Todd County Public Health as well as been a 4-H leader and served on the Todd County Fair Board.
