PANA, Ill. — University of Illinois Extension and the Christian County Farm Bureau are hosting a field day at Dudley Smith Farm near Pana, Illinois, to inform attendees about the latest research in drainage water management and livestock nutrition. Subjects will include:
– Denitrifying bioreactors
– Beef cattle grazing systems research
– Cover crop implementation
Who: For row crop and beef cattle producers.
When: June 21, 2017. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
Where: Dudley Smith Farm, located at 2200 E 550 N Rd, off of Rt. 29 just north of Pana, Illinois.
