ORONO, Maine — University of Maine Cooperative Extension is offering an online discussion about the impact of recent federal legislation on Maine farms related to economic recovery from noon–1 p.m., April 22.
The discussion topics will include the CARES Act and its paycheck protection program, as well as an update on the proposed fourth economic stimulus package. Maine Congresswoman Chellie Pingree, who serves on the House Agriculture Committee, will join the discussion. Representatives from other offices of Maine’s Congressional delegation also will be participating.
