SPENCER, Iowa — Six thundering dirt events, including a sprint car-only show will fill the U.S. Cellular Grandstand during the nine days of the 2017 Clay County Fair, Sept. 9-17.
“Dirt racing has been a great part of the Fair’s 100-year history, and this year will be no exception,” said Fair Manager Jeremy Parsons. “Sprint Car fans will be especially pleased with the addition of 360 and non-wing classes this year.”
A long-standing Fair tradition, Chuckwagon Races will kick off dirt events Saturday, Sept. 9 and Sunday, Sept. 10 at noon on both days. Adult general admission tickets are $15 and child general admission (age 12 and under) tickets are $10.
