OKLAHOMA CITY — Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) is pleased to announce the new addition of Kaila Williams as Director of Communications. Williams is responsible for communicating the mission and vision of OCA, along with assisting in the production of The Cowman magazine.
“Raised in the beef industry in southwest Oklahoma, Kaila has a dedication, excitement and passion for our livelihood,” said Michael Kelsey, OCA Executive Vice President. “She brings all this along with her talent and skill which will help OCA clearly and strongly communicate our positive message to members, influencers and consumers. We are thrilled to have Kaila on the OCA team.”
Williams is a graduate from Oklahoma State University. She grew up on her family’s purebred Shorthorn and commercial cattle operation near Duncan, Okla. While at Oklahoma State, she traveled abroad to New Zealand where she studied beef cattle. She has exhibited cattle across the country and served on the American Junior Shorthorn Association Board of Directors. Williams previously worked as the Marketing Specialist at Cotton Electric Cooperative.
“I am thrilled to go back to my roots in the beef industry,” said Williams.
“I am looking forward to working closely with the staff and membership to promote the beef industry and educate the public about what we do at OCA. I am looking forward to meeting our members at upcoming district meetings and events.”
