According to the National Agricultural Statistics Service in Maryland, there were 6.5 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending Sunday, May 16TH, 2021. Topsoil moisture supplies were 2 percent very short, 10 percent short, 50 percent adequate, and 38 percent surplus. DOVER, Del. — According to the National Agricultural Statistics Service in Maryland, there were 6.5 days suitable for fieldwork for the week ending Sunday, May 16TH, 2021. Topsoil moisture supplies were 2 percent very short, 10 percent short, 50 percent adequate, and 38 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies were 0 percent very short, 4 percent short, 72 percent adequate, and 24 percent surplus.

In Delaware, there were 7.0 days suitable for fieldwork. Topsoil moisture supplies were 7 percent very short, 18 percent short, 50 percent adequate, and 25 percent surplus. Subsoil moisture supplies were 6 percent very short, 5 percent short, 64 percent adequate, and 25 percent surplus.
