GAINSVILLE, Fla. — This coming Sunday, June 30th is the application deadline regarding submissions for the Hurricane Bridge Loan Program targeting farmers. Len Eichler (850-818-0571) with the SBDC has been at Chipola College in Marianna on Wednesdays to help with the application process. Tomorrow is his last day there, he will be in his usual location from 9-4 CST: the second floor of the Language Arts building. If you are unfamiliar with the campus, it is the first building on the right as you enter the circle. Reminder for Sales Tax Rebate Program
June 30th is the SPENDING deadline for the sales tax rebate program. Construction materials (fencing, lumber, etc) purchased in Florida for rebuilding or cleaning up the farm post hurricane is eligible. You will have to show proof of purchase for the amount of sales tax. The application for this program runs through December 31st, but the materials must be purchased (money spent) by June 30th.
