OKLAHOMA CITY — The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association recently hired Cassie Danielson as the State Brand Registrar.
Currently, there are 13,641 brands registered in the state of Oklahoma. Danielson will process and approve all brand applications and handle the brand renewal process that occurs every five years.
“We are so pleased to welcome Cassie to the OCA staff team. Having grown up in her family’s beef business, she brings a love and knowledge of our industry along with a pleasant and helpful attitude. Under Cassie’s leadership, I am confident beef cattle producers will find the Oklahoma brand registration process efficient and accurate,” said Michael Kelsey, OCA Executive Vice President.
Cassie grew up in Maud, Okla. and was a participant in OCA’s Young Cattlemen’s Leadership Program (now known as Cattlemen’s Leadership Academy) in 2007. She is a 2004 graduate from Oklahoma State University. Cassie and her husband, Alan are parents of twin eight-year-old girls and currently reside in Mustang, Okla.
“I’m excited to be part of the OCA staff and help cattlemen from all over Oklahoma with the brand registration process,” said Danielson.
