INDIANAPOLIS — DairyBusiness, news providers of DairyBusiness.com, The Weekly Email, and This Week in Dairy video, are launching DairyVoice on September 2. DairyVoice will be a podcast, made available several times a month to producers and associated industry professionals that need help with cost-savings, efficiency, and other invaluable industry information. The podcast series, beginning September 2, will feature expert speakers from across the United States on topics such as Cow Comfort, Business Management, dairy cash flow, current industry issues and more.
Joel Hastings, Editor & Publisher of DairyBusiness, explains, “With this volatile climate in our industry, we have to continue finding ways to communicate new and better tools for producers, processors, veterinarians, and nutritionists to receive information that can save them money and make their operations more efficient. The new DairyVoice podcast adds another venue for communications to our audience”
DairyBusiness.com became active in 1999 near the inception of the internet. Since then, it has grown to receive nearly 80,000 visitors a month and has over 20,000 opt-in email subscribers. Those in the dairy industry check each day for the latest news and relevant information to stay on top of their business.
According to Dave Parker, Managing Partner of DairyBusiness LLC, “We’ve been discussing the addition of a podcast for some time now. Recently, we received a lot of feedback from educators, coops and major dairy organizations that prompted us to move forward with this idea. Some people don’t have time to read the news and information we produce each day. But they can click a button on their computer or mobile phone and listen to the information while they work.”
Make sure to tune in on September 2 and listen to the first podcast, “10 Ten Traits for Resilient, High Performing Dairies” by Tom Overton of Cornell University and PRO-DAIRY. You can find the podcast at DairyBusiness.com or DairyVoice.com.
