LONG PRAIRIE, Minn. — University of Minnesota Extension and Minnesota Dairy Initiatives will host a Dairy Producer Night out on Thursday, March 28. The purpose of the Dairy Producer Night Out is to bring local dairy producers together for an evening of networking, education, and fun. It will be held from 7:30pm-9:00pm at the Thunder Lodge Sports Bar & Supper Club, located at 22056 US 71, Long Prairie. The Dairy Producer Night Out is offered free of charge and vouchers will be given to attendees to help cover the cost of food.
This event will include a short presentation on calf scours and health from Dr. Steve Baldwin of Freeport Veterinary Service. Dr. Baldwin will discuss the symptoms, prevention, and treatment of scours, as well as, overall calf health.
