ST. CLOUD, Minn. — University of Minnesota Extension and Minnesota Dairy Initiatives will host a Dairy Producer Night Out on Thursday, March 15, 2018. The purpose of the Dairy Producer Night Out is to bring local dairy producers together for an evening of networking, education, and fun. It will be held from 7:30pm-9:00pm at Greenwald Pub, located at 310 1st Ave N in Greenwald. The Dairy Producer Night Out is offered free of charge and vouchers will be given to attendees to help cover the cost of food. Pre-registration is requested by March 12. This event will include a short presentation from Dr. Steve Baldwin and Dr. Lee Michels of Freeport Veterinary Service. Dr. Baldwin and Dr. Michels will present on dry cow care including vaccinations and dry cow treatment. They will discuss how these and other strategies can be used to prevent problems in fresh cows.
