ORISKANY, N.Y. — Dairy producers know that high dry matter intake of high quality forages drives milk production. The 2017 harvest year has concluded and producers are now faced with the challenge of feeding potentially lower quality forages well into 2018.
All dairy producers are invited to attend a discussion on how best to use your 2017 forage inventories and learn how to better prepare yourselves for the 2018 harvest. The discussion will be held Friday February 9th, 2018 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at CCE of Oneida County, located at 121 Second St. in Oriskany.
Dr. Larry Chase, Cornell University Dairy Cattle Nutritionist, will be our guest speaker. Cost to attend is $10 and includes lunch. Reservations are required and allow us to contact you regarding cancellations or postponements.
Please call 315-736-3394 ext. 132 to reserve your seat by Tuesday February 6th 2018.
