UPDATE: There has been a last minute change in location for ISU Extension and Outreach Dairy Days, which will be held next week on Thursday, February 6. The new location will be at the New Vienna Community Center (in the new fire station) 1951 Church St. New Vienna, IA. The previously announced location was Neumann’s Bar & Grill, 927 Main St., Holy Cross. Citizens State Bank in New Vienna, along with several Vet Clinics and other agri-businesses will help to sponsor the event.
MANCHESTER, Iowa — Iowa dairy producers have the opportunity to learn about emerging dairy industry issues during 2020 Dairy Days events hosted by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach specialists. The program is scheduled at five eastern Iowa locations between Jan. 20 and Feb. 6.
At this year’s program, producers will learn about ventilation options, dealing with farm stress, dairy market updates, stress and metabolic responses on dairy cows, group calf housing, and more.
Check in starts at 9:30 a.m. and the program will conclude by 2:30 p.m. A $15 registration fee covers the noon meal and proceedings costs. Pre-registration is requested by the Friday before each event to reserve a meal. Online registration is available.

Dairy Days will also be offered Jan. 20 in Riceville, Jan. 21 in Calmar, Jan. 23 in Waverly, Feb. 4. in Kalona and Feb. 6 in Holy Cross.
