LIVERPOOL, N.Y. — Cornell University officials have been proactively working with local and state public health organizations to monitor the concern surrounding the coronavirus outbreak and to protect the health and safety of our campus community and beyond. Effective, Monday, March 9, Cornell University is postponing or cancelling large gatherings and events. As a result of and in compliance this policy, we must postpone next week’s Northeast Dairy Management Conference on March 11 -12, 2020 at the Holiday Inn in Liverpool, NY.Â
While we understand that this cancellation is disruptive and disappointing, it is essential that we prioritize the health and safety of our conference attendees, sponsors, speakers and university faculty and staff.
We are exploring our options to reschedule the event and hope to have a new plan in place very soon. As we navigate our path forward, we will be in contact with all sponsors and registrants within 14 business days with further information regarding current sponsorships and registrations and future plans. Hotel reservations should be cancelled individually by contact the Holiday Inn as soon as possible at (315) 457-1122.
NEDPA Members should watch their email for information about the Annual Meeting update.
We thank you for your understanding and patience. Should you have any immediate concerns, please contact us at dmconf@cornell.edu.
