CARLISLE, Pa. — Penn State Extension in Cumberland County is hosting a Pollination Day Camp led by 4H Summer Assistant, Emily Stambaugh, on August 11 from 9:00am – 12:00pm at the Cumberland County Extension Office, 310 Allen Road in Carlisle. This camp is free and open to all youth ages 7-11 (as of 01/01/2021) to learn about the pollination process, pollinator species, and flowers used in pollination. Cumberland County 4-H is open to all youth ages 5-18 and has clubs for all interests including, cooking, art, outdoors, science, animals, and leadership. Participation from all youth and their families is encouraged.
