HORSEHEADS, N.Y. — The Cornell Cooperative Extension South Central NY Dairy and Field Crops program will offer a meeting with commercial and private pesticide recertification credits in Ag Plant categories 21-25 and commercial Ag plant (1A).
The workshop will address the following subjects:
Grass and broadleaf weed control for corn, soybeans and alfalfa, Capturing forage quality all season long, Kernel processing score results with different hybrid characteristics, overview of crop insurance grain products for yield and revenue, mycotoxin incidence across the state and options for control in crop production and a panel discussion of the infrastructure needed for home grown soybeans for grain.
The workshop will be held Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the Town Hall in Horseheads, located at 150 Wygant Road. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. The meeting will begin at 10:00 and conclude at 3 p.m.
