LAKEWOOD, Colo. — USDA’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) has published final estimates for Field Crops and Stocks of Grain, Oilseeds, and Hay, including revisions made by the Agricultural Statistics Board (ASB), for the production years 2013 through 2017 (2014 through 2018 for Stocks of Grain, Oilseeds, and Hay). This data presents final field crop estimates, including revisions made by the Agricultural Statistics Board (ASB), for the production years 2013 through 2017 and final stock estimates, including revisions made by the Agricultural Statistics Board (ASB) for the years 2014 through 2018. Data included in these final publications provide a historic record and a benchmark for current estimates.
Field crop revisions were made after a thorough review of original survey data and all additional data now available, including the 2017 Census of Agriculture. Other data series considered included United States Department of Agriculture farm program administrative records, shipment records, exports, and quantity processed information. Stocks revisions were made after evaluating production revisions made by the ASB. The field crop and stocks of grain, oilseeds and hay estimates are considered final and will not be revised again.
