The goal of this workshop is to help business owners develop an understanding of a business plan, what goes into it, how to write one and its usefulness.

“Developing a financial plan for your business will also be covered in detail and include investment required for startup or expansion, creating cash flow projections and developing a business budget,” said Willis Mushrush, a business development specialist with University of Missouri Extension.

Mushrush is the facilitator of this workshop. He has over 20 years of experience as an owner and manager of retail stores, and nine-years of experience as a Human Resource Manager for a large manufacturing government contractor before joining MU Extension.

Advance registration is needed by Sept. 12 and seating is assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Cost for the program is $40 for Chamber members, $50 for non-members.

To register, contact the Ava Chamber office at 417-683-4594 or director@avachamber.org.

This program is jointly sponsored by University of Missouri Extension, the Ava Chamber of Commerce and the Ozarks Small Business Incubator.
