DENVER — We are now just a few days away from gathering in Denver for the 8th annual CPS Research Symposium. So many informative sessions are planned, and returning to our program again this year are the popular Lightning Rounds.
Lightning Rounds are fast-paced presentations on CPS-funded research programs. Principal investigators will describe their research program and share preliminary data and initial conclusions. After the lightening rounds, you can seek out the researcher(s) at the accompanying poster session to ask more questions and gain greater insight on the research topics that interest you the most.
We are pleased to announce the Honorable Governor John Hickenlooper, Governor of the State of Colorado, will provide welcome remarks at the Symposium on Tuesday. Governor Hickenlooper is a former geologist and entrepreneur who recently published his first memoir.
“I am honored and excited to welcome so many distinguished scientists and influential leaders, private and public, who are committed to enhancing food safety for the people of our state and country. This type of cooperation and collaboration have made agriculture in Colorado a leading driver of our economy,” said Governor John Hickenlooper.
Join us and the impressive lineup of participants from industry, government, and academia in Denver next week. It’s not too late, register for the Symposium today!
See you in Denver!
