CLEMSON, S.C. — Coyotes are present in all 46 counties of South Carolina and can live in almost any environment. Given their intelligence, they are incredibly adaptable to their changing surroundings.
In this workshop, you will learn about the biology, history, and the status of the coyote as well as harvesting and trapping techniques, and laws and regulations in regards to managing for coyotes.
After the classroom portion, a professional trapper will demonstrate proper trapping techniques for you to see and try hands on.
Speaker:
Jay Butfiloski, South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, Furbearer and Alligator Program Coordinator
