LOUISBURG, N.C. — A Winter and Spring series of discussions with a hands-on workshop will be conducted via webinar and in-person. Discussions will include the following topics and the series will conclude with a Field Day in June 2022.
Session 2: Thursday, December 16: Cattle Marketing webinar (in-person) beginning at 6 pm, at the Extension Center Annex, in Louisburg. Dinner provided.
Session 3: Tuesday, January 18, 2022: Winter Feeding and Supplementation for Brood Cows; Time TBA (in-person and via Zoom.)
Session 4: Tuesday, February 15, 2022: Weaning Management: Nutrition and Vaccinations, Time TBA, (in-person and via Zoom.)
Session 5: Tuesday, April 19, 2022: Reproduction, Calving, and Mineral/Hoof Management, Time TBA, (in-person and via Zoom.)
5-County BEEF Tour: Tuesday, June 21, 2022: A morning tour of three farms followed by BEEF sponsored lunch; forage variety test plots; marketing; genetics. Hosted by Franklin County.
