COSHOCTON, Ohio — Coshocton County Farm Bureau is proud to host Breakfast on the Farm on Saturday. This event will be held at Lapp Farms in Coshocton and is being hosted in partnership with Jeff Drennen Ford as we challenge the community to Fill-A-Ford. The cost for admission is a monetary or non-perishable donation to the New Life Ministries Food Pantry.
In addition to breakfast, local agencies including Coshocton County Soil and Water Conservation District, OSU Extension and 4-H will be on hand to answer questions about the programs and opportunities they offer. There will also be an opportunity to meet your local Farm Bureau board of trustees and learn more about our organization.
Following breakfast, at 10 a.m., Coshocton County Farm Bureau will host the annual safety meeting for those enrolled in the group worker’s compensation program through Farm Bureau. This educational presentation is open to the public and will focus on Drug Safety in the Workplace.
Attendees will learn about recognizing the signs of someone under the influence, procedures for requesting a drug test, worker’s comp liabilities, what to do if you come in contact with drugs and will have an opportunity to ask questions. “Drug Safety in the Workplace” is being presented by Beth Cormack and Tyra Hixon from Coshocton Behavioral Health Choices.
