KAWAUNEE, Wis. — Extension Kewaunee County will offer an opportunity to have standing corn intended for corn silage tested for whole plant moisture on Wednesday, September 1 at Door County Co-Op, 6460 State Hwy 42/57, Sturgeon Bay. Sample collection will be 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. Samples will be chopped and delivered to Dairyland Laboratories, Inc. with results available within 24 hours.
Sample collection with on-site testing will also take place on Tuesday, September 7 at Rio Creek Feed Mill – Luxemburg location, 715 Frontier Rd, Luxemburg.
