BALLSTON SPA, N.Y.–Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga County is hosting a parasite resistance workshop on November 1, 2018 at 6:30PM-7:45PM at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Saratoga in Ballston Spa. This workshop is being presented by founding veterinarians of River Valley Veterinary Services, Dr. Jill Greisman and Dr. Jessie Bolster. The veterinarians of RVVS are on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week providing their services to livestock of all sizes and even small animals.
Parasite resistance is a growing concern among livestock producers. This workshop will help inform producers of the best way to test and treat their livestock for optimal success. The cost to attend is $10 per person, and the cost includes all workshop materials, light refreshments, and the ability to bring a fecal sample from your herd for the vet to test. This event is open to anyone.
