GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Showcase titled Five Ways Farmers are Protecting Our Soil and Water will help landowners learn more about the many resources available to Kent Conservation District residents. There will be a panel discussion and recognition of Kent County’s Michigan Agriculture Environmental Assurance Program participants. The program will be followed by a special announcement on how landowners can take advantage of an additional $2.8 million in environmental quality incentive program funding through the Regional Conservation Partnership Program. Guests will enjoy a conservation-themed silent auction, browse the spring plant sale catalogs.The District Forester and staff will be on hand to answer questions. Applicators earn 2 CEUs.
When: Thursday, March 22nd 5:30-8pm
Location: Grand Rapids Charter Township Hall: 1836 East Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids. The hall is located across the street from the Knapp Meijer. Walk-ins are welcome to this free event but, RSVP for dinner on Eventbrite, Facebook or by replying to this message by March 20th.
