PITTSBORO, N.C. — Are you interested in improving conservation measures on your farm? Come learn about the planning, implementation and funding of on-farm conservation practices in this 6-hour workshop.
We’ll cover practices that can build soil, protect water and soil quality, help beneficial insects and other wildlife, as well as the benefits and challenges of growing in high tunnels. Participants will also learn how local organizations can assist with funding and implementing conservation measures on the farm.
This workshop is being conducted in cooperation with CFSA, NC Cooperative Extension, the Natural Resource Conservation Service, and the Conservation Management Institute.
