WALPOLE, N.H. — New Hampshire Conservation Districts are celebrating their 75th year of conservation in 2021 and are looking for historic conservation themed photos from the early years. These can be photos of past events, past awards, conservation projects, past partners, past staff, past equipment, past photos of land/property, past photos of family and community, etc.
When sharing photos, please include as much detail as you can – the date, general location, what is happening in the photo, who the people are, who took the photo and how it connects to the Conservation District or to conservation in general. All photos should be sent to Lola@cheshireconservation.org with the subject line “Historic photo.”
Received photos will be shared publicly in newsletters and social medias posts as part of the 75th Anniversary of Conservation Districts 2021 year-long celebration.
The Cheshire County Conservation District promotes the conservation and responsible use of our natural and agricultural resources for the people of Cheshire County by providing technical, financial, and educational assistance. Our goal is to encourage the stewardship of healthy soils, productive ecologically sound farms, diverse wildlife, productive sustainable forests, healthy watersheds, and clean water to ensure those resources are available for future generations. Established in 1945, the Conservation District operates out of Walpole, NH where we work alongside the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service and other conservation partners. For more information, contact Amanda Littleton at 603-756-2988 ext.4 or email at amanda@cheshireconservation.
