HARTFORD, Conn. — The Connecticut Agricultural Information Council (CAIC) is seeking nominations for the 2021 Outstanding Young Farmer. Awarded annually during Ag Day at the Capitol, the Connecticut Outstanding Young Farmer Award recognizes the winner’s progress in their agricultural career, their soil and water conservation practices, and their contributions to the well-being of the community, the state, and the nation.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Ag Day at the Capitol celebration will take place virtually on Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Details on the program will be posted at www.ctaginfocouncil.org. CAIC is also accepting nominations for the Century Farm and Ag Journalism awards.
