Nutrient Management Conference
Tuesday, February 4th in Mankato
The 12th annual Nutrient Management Conference covers the latest research on nutrient management in Minnesota. A farmer panel will discuss on-farm conservation practices. Topics include the potential for cover crops to improve nutrient use efficiency, soil health tests, biologicals, updating Minnesota’s phosphorus index, and using liquid swine manure as an N source for sidedressing corn.

Nitrogen: Minnesota’s Grand Challenge and Compelling Opportunity Conference
Tuesday, February 18th in Alexandria
The 6th annual Nitrogen Conference is the only event in Minnesota devoted solely to nitrogen management. The conference features an update on the Minnesota Department of Agriculture’s new Groundwater Protection Rule, and presentations on timely topics such as irrigation, cover crops and soil health, and N stabilizers.
