BINGHAMTON, N.Y. — Autumn has arrived and soon after our trees display their fall colors it will be time to deal with all dead leaves.
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County is holding a workshop called Composting, Mulching and More to explain how leaves can be used to improve soil and plant health. Topics covered during the workshop include making leaf mold and compost, as well as mulching and mowing leaves. The workshop will be held on Thursday, October 25that 6:00 p.m. at the extension office, 840 Upper Front Street, Binghamton.
