SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. — This March, Compeer Financial will host a virtual Women’s Seminar. Women who attend will have the opportunity to hear from leadership experts and network with other local women in agriculture.
The free half-day seminar will address a variety of topics women in agriculture face today from speakers Jolene Brown, Ashley Ahl, Kim Wedig and Stephanie Wise. Subjects will include:
- Women in Leadership: Compeer Financial Board Members will sit down for an inspiring discussion on how they approach their careers in agriculture, challenges they’ve overcome, trends they’ve seen in the industry and things they’ve done to grow and develop as leaders.
- The Balancing Act: Juggling Roles and Finding Joy: Take a look at what it takes to juggle the multiple roles women carry in their connection to agriculture. Look at current benchmarks of balance and learn realistic ideas to bring perspective and joy into family and work life.
“We want attendees to leave these events with an expanded network of women in agriculture, feeling empowered and ready to take action,” said Becky Binsfeld, Team Leader of Education and Events. “This seminar is about leadership in your community and finding the extra you need to go after your biggest dreams..”
The Seminar begins at 9 a.m. with closing remarks at 11:45 a.m. Visit Compeer.com/Womens-Seminar for agenda details and to register for the virtual program.
