DENVER — Colorado Livestock Association hosted its annual CLA Legislative Breakfast this past Wednesday in Denver. The event is held each year during the legislative session to give CLA Board of Directors and the CLA Legislative Affairs Committee members the opportunity to voice their concerns regarding proposed legislation.
Colorado State Senators and Representatives who are members of the Senate and House Agriculture, Natural Resources and Energy Committees are invited to attend to discuss the top legislative issues and concerns to livestock producers and rural Coloradans. This year, discussion focused on legislation related to water, driver’s licenses, rural broadband access, the Environmental Ag Program fee bill as well as several others.
CLA would like to extend a sincere ‘Thank You’ to all of the legislators who attended this event.
