IOWA FALLS, Iowa — A continuing education workshop for Commercial Pesticide Applicators for Ag Weed, Insect, and Plant Disease will be held Wednesday, November 20, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at the Hardin County ISU Extension Office in Iowa Falls. The workshop is for certified applicators with categories 1A, 1B, 1C and 10 endorsements and will cover information on recognition of sensitive areas as potentially impacted by pesticides, pesticide labels, restricted entry interval and preharvest intervals, and pest management. Certified Crop Advisor (CCA) Continuing Education Units (CEUs) in Soil and Water Management and Pest Management will be offered at this program. Interested participants should bring their CCA number.
