SALEM, Ore. — The Oregon Department of Agriculture (ODA) is amending language in Oregon Administrative Rule (OAR) 603-057-0006, and the department is seeking your comment.
The current annual pesticide registration fee is $320. The proposed amended rule increases the annual pesticide registration fee to $360, starting with 2023 pesticide product registrations. This rule also makes the fee nonrefundable. House Bill 3549 (2015) increased the statutory maximum for pesticide registration fees to $400. However, ODA has determined that the full amount of the cap is not needed at this time to maintain current service levels. It is anticipated that the rule will be effective September 20, 2022.
