FORT COLLINS, Colo. — There has not been much of a change in the crop condition over the last month, however there was a small improvement in the drought monitor. The biggest story this week is the crazy weather Eastern Colorado has experienced – snow and freezing temps, highs near 80 degrees, rain, hail and tornadoes. A good portion of Northeastern Colorado saw significant rain Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Anywhere from 1 to 4 inches was reported (8 inches south of Haxtun!). Unfortunately some of the rain came with hail.
