GREELEY, Colo. — Colorado Corn is again looking forward to interacting with the thousands of people who will attend the Colorado Farm Show in Greeley from Jan. 24-26. In addition to being at its booth this year, Colorado Corn staff also served on the Ag Spotlight Day’s planning committee, helping organize the “Pest Management Panel Discussion” and “Emerging Markets Panel Discussion.” See the full Farm Show schedule here.
Colorado Corn is also helping support the Colorado Young Farmers Educational Association’s (CYFEA) Annual State Institute, which kicks off during the last day of the Colorado Farm Show, on Thursday, Jan. 26, and then continues Friday, Jan. 27, and Saturday, Jan. 28, at Colorado State University’s Agricultural Research, Development and Education Center (ARDEC).
Along with sponsoring the CYFEA’s State Institute, Colorado Corn staff will also take part in a CYFEA presentation at the Colorado Farm Show, focused on consumer education — covering GMOs and antibiotic use in livestock. The CYFEA’s “Real World Conversation” program will be Jan. 26, from 2:45-3:45 p.m at the Farm Show. See a full schedule and learn more about the CYFEA State Institute here.
Furthermore, Colorado Corn has its grain-bin display at the National Western Stock Show in Denver this month. The Colorado Corn grain bin — set up as part of the CSU Ag Adventures displays — features signage and a video about corn production, targeted at educating the thousands of general consumers who attend the National Western each year. See the full schedule and other National Western details here.
