WATERLOO, Ill. — Fall is a great time to enjoy the outdoors. Even though the days are getting shorter and the nights are cooler, our gardens are still very active. Come and learn more about fall gardening activities at the Color of Autumn Workshop on September 14, 2019, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Monroe County Annex Building, 901 Illinois Ave, Waterloo, Ill., hosted by University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners.
The program includes a presentation on “Doctoring Your Soil” and “Pumpkin Season.” Other topics include dividing irises, trees with fall interest, creating rain barrels, and designing a welcome sign. Space is limited for some of the sessions.
