CHAZY, N.Y. — The Clinton County Maple School will be held on Friday, January 26 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the William H. Miner Institute, corner of Miner Farm Road and Ridge Road in Chazy, NY.
Topics include Forest Tent Caterpillar: Implications for Maple Producers and Best Management Practices to Promote Sugarbush Health and Identification as well as Prevention of Off-Flavors in Maple Products. The evening will conclude with an open forum and Q&A on bulk syrup trends and other topics. The event will be followed by a meeting of the NENY Maple Producers Assn.
Anyone interested in maple syrup production is invited to attend. Registration cost is $25 and includes dinner.
